Egypt needs ” The hammer, the bell and the song”

Some 63 years ago Pete Seeger wrote “The Hammer Song”.. It was the Anthem song for the Progressive movement against the conservative powers in the united states at the turn of the twenties centuray… Yet again in 1963 .. That same song was the Anthem song for the Civil rights movement against the tyrany of one race against another … In 2010 Wikileaks used the song as the “wikileaks Song” .. A hammer for the freedom of speech ( and leaks) .. A hammer against the invisible parties that destroys our liberties and rights…

In 2012 the Egyptians are again mysteriously waiting for things to fall on their heads when they are ought to grap a hammer, a bell or a song …

If I had a hammer,
I’d hammer in the morning
I’d hammer in the evening,
All over this land

I’d hammer out danger,
I’d hammer out a warning,
I’d hammer out love between my brothers and my sisters,
All over this land.

If I had a bell,
I’d ring it in the morning,
I’d ring it in the evening,
All over this land

I’d ring out danger,
I’d ring out a warning
I’d ring out love between my brothers and my sisters,
All over this land.

If I had a song,
I’d sing it in the morning,
I’d sing it in the evening,
All over this land

I’d sing out danger,
I’d sing out a warning
I’d sing out love between my brothers and my sisters,
All over this land.

Well I got a hammer,
And I got a bell,
And I got a song to sing, all over this land.

It’s the hammer of Justice,
It’s the bell of Freedom,
It’s the song about Love between my brothers and my sisters,
All over this land.

It’s the hammer of Justice,
It’s the bell of Freedom,
It’s the song about Love between my brothers and my sisters,
All over this land.

Super Farah .. Superman .. Again and again

My lovely daughter … Its not easy to be you

بالورقة والقلم – كورال العيلة 3

Amazing improvisation of choreography of this brilliant song … the girls were just flying somewhere not bothered with the circus like atmosphere around them …..

في حاجة حلوة – كورال العيلة 2

My dream coming true : The mariage D`Amour by Farah

Long ago I had a dream. I always dreamt of a daughter who plays the piano for me… and the dream became a reality .. I am sharing with you my dream ..

The mariage D`Amour “Wedding of Love” was composed by French Composer “Paul de Senneville”, and played originally by the famous French pianist Richard Clayderman.

I think my cinematography and poor editing failed the tender piece of music and the superb performance by Farah.. I will probably work on it again until I master music post-production editing..

Enjoy…

تحشيشة علي انغام فاريبورز لاتشيني

Back to  Al Tahrir square …. Thats how I feel when I listen to this piece of music (Whirlwind in Autumn – Fariborz Lachini) ….

Every time I listen to it I hear the voices of revolution ..The young enthusiasts. ..the pure, the fake, the silent and the chaotic ….

The  terrific piece starts by unmistakable eastern Prelude.. could be Egyptian or Persian … the climate is quite but you can sense vibrating tension (up to 1:18) ( may be the last 10 years of the awakening)…

What follows is a swift rising crescendo (1:40) (January / February) …a mood worthy of a revolution ( you can just sense the hesitant start surrender to a powerful determination)… Then comes the debate  (1:50) (the tense  March) ..the high pitch and the low rumble… Fast and Fierce as wild rapids…heart bounding  (feel the piano keys got strained to a cracking point)…. Drifting, sincere, devote and Revolutionary….

Gradually a boring humble voice (think of our current government)  takes over to deliver the lower toned debate…. Feels also sincere but less certain… Stays like this for too0000 long (April/May) …..

As The bitch slow down and we are about to lose hope …. it rises again (3:55)…never as high as the beginning … But it recovers and prevails…. The revolution is on track…. hopefully…

Is it the mood that speaks music or the music absorbing the mood … In anyway… It’s a wonderful short inspiring piece of music in times of uncertainty … enjoy it …
